Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how epic-ze-zeus.com (the Site) handles personal data. The Site is an independent information page about one slot game. It has no player accounts, takes no deposits and does not accept wagers, so the amount of data we handle is small. We still set out exactly what it is, because you should not have to guess.

We act as the controller of the personal data described here and follow UK data protection law, including the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What We Collect

Data reaches us in three ways.

  • Technical data collected automatically when you load a page: IP address, browser and device type, referring page, pages viewed and approximate location derived from the IP address.
  • Cookie and similar data, described in the cookie section below.
  • Anything you choose to send us, such as an email with a correction or a question. That is normally a name, an email address and the content of your message.

We do not ask for your date of birth, payment details or identity documents, and we do not knowingly collect special-category data. Please do not include such details in a message to us.

Why We Use It and Our Legal Basis

We use technical data to keep the Site running, to secure it against abuse and to see which pages readers find useful. Our legal basis is legitimate interests: running a reliable, safe website and improving it. We use analytics and advertising cookies only where you have given consent, and consent is the legal basis for them. If you write to us, we use your message to reply and to fix errors, and we rely on legitimate interests for that too.

We do not make automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you, and we do not sell personal data.

Cookies

Essential cookies keep pages loading correctly and remember basic preferences. Analytics cookies, where enabled, tell us in aggregate how many people visit and which pages they read. Where a cookie is not essential, it is set only after you agree in the cookie notice, and you can withdraw that agreement at any time by clearing cookies in your browser settings.

Your browser lets you refuse or delete cookies. If you block essential cookies, some parts of the Site may not work as expected.

The Embedded Demo

The free demo on the home page is provided by the game's developer and loads inside a frame only after you press the play button. Until then, no request is made to the developer's servers from that frame. Once you start it, the developer receives technical data such as your IP address and device details and may set its own cookies. That processing is governed by the developer's privacy policy, not this one, and we do not receive the data it collects.

Links to Casinos and Other Sites

Some links on the Site lead to online casinos and other third-party websites. When you follow such a link, the other site receives your IP address and the fact that you arrived from this Site, and it processes your data under its own privacy policy and terms. We may receive anonymous referral information showing that a visit came from the Site. We are not responsible for how other websites use your data, so read their policies before you register anywhere.

Who We Share Data With

We share personal data only with service providers that help us run the Site, such as hosting, security and analytics providers, and only to the extent they need it to perform their service. They act on our instructions under contracts that require them to protect the data. We may also disclose data where the law requires it, for example in response to a valid request from a court or regulator. Some providers process data outside the United Kingdom; where they do, we use safeguards recognised by UK law, such as approved contract terms.

How Long We Keep Data

Server and security logs are kept for a short period, normally up to 90 days, and then deleted or anonymised. Analytics data is kept in aggregated form for as long as it remains useful for understanding trends. Emails you send us are kept for as long as needed to answer you and for a reasonable time afterwards in case of follow-up, then deleted. If the law requires us to keep something longer, we will do so only for that purpose.

Your Rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to have inaccurate data corrected, to have data erased in certain circumstances, to restrict or object to particular uses, and to receive data you provided in a portable format. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting earlier use.

To use any of these rights, email us at [email protected] and tell us what you need. We may ask you to confirm who you are, and we aim to answer within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK data protection regulator, and we would appreciate the chance to put things right first.

Security and Children

We protect the Site with measures appropriate to its size, including encrypted connections, access controls and regular updates. No online service can promise perfect security, so we ask you to be careful about what you send us. The Site is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone younger, and if we learn that we have done so we will delete it.

Changes and Contact

We may update this Privacy Policy when our practices or the law change. The current version is the one on this page, and material changes will be reflected here. For any question about privacy, write to [email protected].
